Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Ltd is working with a leading national provider of powered access equipment to recruit an experienced Workshop Powered Access Engineer for their Leicestershire depot.

This depot-based role offers a competitive salary (£30,000 - £40,000 DOE) plus overtime, 33 days holiday, full training, and progression opportunities. A full UK driving licence is required and IPAF/CAP qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a mobile service engineering role (MEWPs, plant, or forklifts).
• IPAF 3a/3b and CAP certifications desirable but not essential.
• Solid understanding of hydraulics and electrics with strong problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), servicing, and repairs across powered access equipment and telehandlers.
• Diagnose and resolve faults within the depot.
• Manage workload efficiently and maintain accurate digital service records.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), servicing, and repairs across a wide range of powered access equipment and telehandlers
• Diagnose and resolve faults within the depot
• Manage your own workload efficiently and maintain accurate digital service records

About You

• Previous experience in a mobile service engineering role (MEWPs, plant, or forklifts)
