Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller / Service Administrator / Workshop Supervisor for our Beckenham garage. You will bridge the front desk and technicians, directing daily workshop flow, MOT testing, diagnostics, wheel alignment, and repairs across all vehicle makes.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, leadership, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced automotive environment. On-site parking and a collaborative team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a workshop or service desk in a fast-paced auto environment.
• Strong understanding of garage workflow, MOT scheduling and service logistics.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily workshop flow and prioritise servicing, MOTs and major repairs.
• Schedule technician workload and allocate jobs efficiently.
• Coordinate parts and liaise with customers to provide updates.
• Maintain quality control and drive workshop efficiency.
• Utilise garage software to manage job allocations and workflow.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (Basic + Bonus / OTE)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Occasional Saturday morning shifts on rotation)

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Supervisor, Service Advisor, or Senior Mechanic looking to step into management.
• Strong understanding of garage workflow, mechanical repairs, diagnostic processes, and MOT scheduling.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency with garage management software and job allocation.
• Full UK driving licence.
