Job summary

ABL 1 Touch Group Limited hires a Workshop Controller to lead a busy repair team in a fast-growing automotive environment. You will help run daily workshop operations, monitor resources, and uphold high quality and safety standards.

You will supervise technicians in structural and crash repairs, drive production metrics, and coordinate with the Service team to keep customers informed while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing large teams in a workshop environment.
• In-depth knowledge of the vehicle repair industry, especially structural and crash repairs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to regulatory compliance and data privacy.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to adapt quickly to new software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and provide direction to Repair Technicians to ensure efficient operations in the new facility.
• Oversee high volume structural and crash repairs, maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Record and interpret production metrics to drive improvements.
• Maximise workshop productivity and efficiency by maintaining optimal operations across the team.
• Coordinate with the Service team to keep customers informed and address issues or complaints.

As a Workshop Controller, you will assist with the daily operation of the workshop and its various components, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will monitor and control the use of all workshop resources to ensure maximum impact on the quality of work. The Workshop Controller will be key to maintaining high standards and ensuring the team operates efficiently, producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and provide direction to our Repair Technicians, ensuring efficient operations in our new facility.

• Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new software.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
