Job summary

The Recruitment Solution is seeking a professional Workshop Controller for a state-of-the-art luxury brand dealership in the Southend area. You will work closely with the Service Manager to plan and coordinate workshop activity to meet customer requirements and maximise utilisation and profitability.

Applicants should have Main Dealer experience, strong leadership, and a good grasp of workshop processes and Health and Safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and motivating a workshop team.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate workshop activity.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and throughput.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate a team of workshop staff.
• Maximise utilisation and productivity to meet set objectives and customer expectations.
• Ensure the DMS is updated and accurate.
• Identify potential warranty claims as per manufacturer requirements.
• Liaise with parts department to order parts.
• Complete job cards.
• Undertake performance reviews and training where needed.

Our client is looking for a professional and dedicated Workshop Controller to take the role at our client's state of the art dealership based in the Southend area. You will work closely with the Service Manager and will be responsible for planning and co-ordinating Workshop activity to meet customer requirements and maximising Workshop utilisation and profitability.

Key Tasks for the Workshop Controller Will Include:
