Job summary

Vertu Ford Bromley is seeking a capable Workshop Controller to join our friendly, high-performing team in Bromley. The role focuses on planning and leading daily workshop activity to keep service work flowing smoothly.

You'll report to the workshop leadership, manage technicians and resources, and strive for efficient, safe, and timely completion of all jobs. A driving licence is required.

• Proven ability to lead a small team and manage workflow.

Ready to take the next step in your career? At Vertu Ford Bromley, we're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Workshop Controller to join our supportive and high-performing team.

We're offering a £37,000 basic salary with an OTE of £42,000, alongside an excellent range of company benefits. You'll work Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm, with just 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.

About the Role

As a Workshop Controller, you'll play a key part in keeping our workshop running smoothly every day. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and allocating work to our Vehicle Technicians
• Coordinating time and resources to support an efficient workflow
• Ensuring deadlines are met and productivity remains high
• Creating a positive, organised environment that helps the team do their best work

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Communicates clearly and respectfully
• Enjoys supporting and organising a team
• Has a solid track record in a technical or workshop role
• Holds a full, valid UK driving licence
