Park’s Motor Group is seeking a bright, enthusiastic individual to take up the position of full-time Workshop Controller for our busy service centre based in Dumfries.

About the role:
You will support the managing of our workshop supporting our branch and its customers through the various services we provide for our manufacturers.

What you will do:

1. Organise the daily workload to ensure maximum productivity
2. Sign off all warranty jobs to the required standard
3. Manage the process of invoices, paperwork and customer details
4. Provide a second to none level of service
5. Maintain, create and change in our databases
6. Build on a strong working relationship with the manufacturers
7. Be able to maintain a high consistent quality of work
8. Communicate in a confidential, professional and appropriate manner
9. Be able to proactively lead in a targeted environment

Your skills & experience will include:

1. Strong leadership and people skills
2. The ability to confidently use Microsoft Office, Excel and Word as well as email packages
3. An eye for attention to detail
4. A strong confident communicator
5. A polite and warm telephone manner
6. Good numeracy skills

8. Experience in a franchised motor trade workshop
