Job summary

Pybus Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a major Accident Repair Group for a Workshop Controller in Edinburgh. You will oversee daily workshop activity, allocate work to technicians, monitor progress and maintain a safe, compliant environment.

We are seeking proven leaders with strong communication skills, solid knowledge of repair processes and the ability to drive productivity in a busy bodyshop. Competitive salary with performance related bonus and opportunities for career progression

They are now actively looking to recruit for a Workshop Controller for their Accident Repair / Bodyshop in Edinburgh.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Overseeing daily workshop activity to ensure jobs are completed on time and to specification
  • Allocating work to technicians based on skills, workload, and priorities
  • Monitoring progress, quality, and productivity, resolving any issues that arise
  • Liaising with parts, customer service, and VDA teams to maintain a smooth repair process
  • Promoting a safe, compliant, and well-organised working environment

  • Proven experience in a workshop controller, senior technician, or similar role within the accident repair industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team
  • Solid understanding of repair processes and bodyshop operations
