Job summary

VolkerWessels UK Ltd, via VolkerFitzpatrick, is recruiting a Building Services Manager to lead the mechanical and electrical services packages across multiple South East projects.

The role involves early collaboration with bid and estimating teams at pre-construction, assessing feasibility, programmes and buildability, and working with design, commercial teams and subcontractors to implement best practices and robust delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as Building Services Manager or MEP Manager.
• Main contractor experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Experience delivering education projects preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects regionally.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Building Services Manager to join our Build Division working on projects in the South East.

The role is to take full responsibility for the services packages across a range of the projects and you will be involved with the bid and estimating teams at pre‑construction stage to look at the feasibility, programme times and buildability of the scheme. You will work with the design and commercial teams and subcontractors to establish best practice, price and procedure for the schemes and your input is essential to the successful delivery of the wider project.

About you

• Previous experience as a Building Services Manager, MEP Manager or M&E Manager.
• Main contractor experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical building services.
• Experience delivering education projects preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across a regional portfolio.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
