Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead project operations on a Civil engineering infrastructure programme in Warrington. You will ensure delivery on time, within budget and to the required safety, quality and environmental standards.

The role requires proven technical and project management abilities, experience in Civils, knowledge of CDM regulations, and the ability to produce Work Package Plans and safe systems of work.

Qualifications

Proven ability to manage complex projects from planning through delivery.
Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and safety systems of work.
Experience in civil engineering environments (Civils).
Ability to plan, programme and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Lead the project operations team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Oversee safety, quality and environmental performance on site.
Develop and implement Work Package Plans and site-specific safety systems.

The Senior Project Manager is the most senior project based member of staff and is both an integral member of the Project Operations Team and the leader of the Team. The Team is responsible for the effective and efficient running of the project throughout the delivery ensuring the project is planned, programmed and delivered on time to the satisfaction of the client with respect to quality, safety, environmental impact and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Proven technical and project management abilities
Strong organisational and management skills
Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations
Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work
Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment
Experience from a Civils background.
