Job summary

Nuclear Restoration Services at Dounreay is seeking a Works Control Supervisor to join the Site Services team. You will oversee the safe execution of planned work, including issuing permits, ensuring environmental compliance and delivering high standards in a fast-paced site.

You will coordinate with facility, maintenance and project teams, plan scoping, hazard identification and risk mitigation, and monitor progress while applying STOP work where needed.

Qualifications

• HNC in Science/Engineering/Business or equivalent qualification plus experience.
• Experience with works control, safety management, temporary works and safe systems of work.
• Knowledge of working at height, excavations and confined spaces.
• Effective communicator with ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
• Resilient and able to deliver high-quality work under pressure and deadlines.
• Post specific physical capability assessment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with facility, maintenance and project teams to approve work packs and permits.
• Contribute to planning activities including work scoping, hazard identification, scheduling and risk mitigation.
• Monitor work in progress and ensure compliance with safety documentation and STOP work when needed.
• Engage with stakeholders to support safe, timely project delivery.
