Job summary

Dounreay is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to provide expert support across the site, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and driving best practice within a highly regulated decommissioning programme.

You will work with project teams, regulators and stakeholders to deliver environmental objectives, provide expert guidance, mentor colleagues and contribute to the site's environmental strategy with a strong focus on health, safety, environment and quality in a challenging

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Studies or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Experience providing environmental advice in a regulated industry.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing specialist environmental advice to projects and facilities across the site.
• Liaising with SEPA and representing Dounreay at internal and external forums.
• Producing environmental assessments, documentation and awareness training.
• Supporting environmental management system improvements and mentoring colleagues.
