Job summary

Bigblue Search Ltd is seeking a Carpentry-based Working Foreman for a live gym fit-out project in Bristol. You’ll be hands-on on site, leading from the front and driving works to keep the programme on track.

The role requires a strong carpentry background, prior supervising or foreman experience, and SSSTS. You’ll coordinate carpentry and general fit-out tasks while ensuring safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Strong carpentry background.
• Experience as Working Foreman or similar.
• Fit-out project experience, ideally in commercial or leisure environments.
• SSSTS certification and good health & safety understanding.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on on-site with the team to drive progress.
• Lead and coordinate carpentry and general fit-out works on site.
• Manage day-to-day site activities and keep the programme moving.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives and maintain site standards.

Working Foreman - Carpentry Gym Fit-Out

I'm working with a fit-out contractor who are looking for a Carpentry-based Working Foreman to join a live gym fit-out project in Bristol.

You'll be hands-on on site, leading from the front and helping keep the works moving across the programme. We're looking for someone with a strong carpentry background who is comfortable taking responsibility on site and managing the day-to-day delivery of the works.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working hands-on alongside the site team
• Leading and coordinating carpentry and general fit-out works
• Managing day-to-day site activities and keeping the programme moving
• Coordinating subcontractors and site operativesMaintaining site standards, quality and health & safety
• Liaising with the site management team and reporting on progress

Requirements:

• Strong carpentry background
• Previous experience as a Working Foreman or similar
• Fit-out experience, ideally within commercial or leisure environments
• SSSTS
• Good understanding of site health & safety
