Job summary

Anglian Recruitment is seeking an experienced Working Foreman to join a residential construction project in Norwich for an initial 1-month contract. The role combines hands-on carpentry/joinery work with supervising and coordinating other trades on site.

The successful candidate will read drawings, monitor quality and safety, keep the programme on track, and report issues to management. SMSTS is required, and you'll lead a small on-site team with practical construction experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Working Foreman, Foreman or Site Supervisor.
• SMSTS required.
• Carpentry/joinery background desirable.
• Strong practical construction experience.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a small site team.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating trades and site operatives.
• Working alongside the site team to ensure the programme is maintained.
• Carrying out carpentry and general construction duties where required.

Rate: CIS Rate Paid - From £220per day (More depending on experience)

We are ideally looking for someone with a carpentry/joinery background who is confident working on the tools while also overseeing and coordinating other trades on site.

The Role

As Working Foreman, you will be responsible for helping to coordinate the day-to-day activities on site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
