Job summary

Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust is seeking a Workforce Policy and Governance Advisor to support the Workforce Policy and Governance Lead in developing, implementing and maintaining workforce policies across the People and Culture Directorate.

The role involves providing expert advice on legislative compliance, policy management, risk and governance activities, including reporting, FOI responses, and training.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a professional related subject or equivalent practical HR experience.
• Post graduate qualification in Human Resources Management or other relevant discipline.
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to ensure governance, compliance and policy effectiveness across the People and Culture Directorate.
• Support implementation of workforce policies and systems of work.
• Line manage a Corporate Business Support Assistant.
• Produce committee reports, FOI responses, and training updates.
• Represent policy guidance to maintain regulatory and governance responsibilities.
