Wye Valley NHS Trust seeks an experienced Nursing/Midwifery/AHP governance professional to strengthen divisional policy governance. You will lead on SOPs/LocSSIPs, provide guidance to clinical teams, and help embed evidence-based practice while aligning with national standards and the Trust values.

You will analyse incidents and risk data, contribute to governance meetings, and support Duty of Candour with training and documentation to ensure ongoing safety and improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Nursing/Midwifery/AHP qualification required.
• Postgraduate diploma or equivalent evidence of ongoing professional development is essential.
• Experience in healthcare settings and policy/locSSIPs familiarity preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead on development, review, and governance of Divisional Policies, SOPs and LocSSIPs.
• Advise Directorate teams on policy development, approval, and application.
• Maintain version control and ensure documents are current and fit for purpose.
• Communicate complex policy changes to staff at all levels across the Division.
• Prepare reports for divisional and directorate governance meetings.
• Support compliance with Duty of Candour and regulatory standards.
• Deliver training on local Policies/SOPs/LocSSIPs to Directorate teams.
• Maintain governance documentation for internal and external reviews.
