Job summary

Reed Talent Solutions are hiring in Northampton! We’re recruiting Workforce Planning Executives to join our Angard Staffing department and support our Service Delivery Team. The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) on a rota, with early, late and weekend shifts. Fixed-term until December 2026.

You will engage with clients and candidates, manage staffing orders, take calls, and orchestrate workforce deployment across Royal Mail sites, coordinating with site managers and candidates.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in a customer service environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both over the phone and in writing.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly with MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage bespoke booking system JoinedUp.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails from candidates and managers.
  • Support managers in utilising systems effectively.
  • Manage shift patterns and rotas as per site requirements.
  • Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders across the client group.

Job Description

Reed Talent Solutions are hiring in Northampton! We're looking to recruit Workforce Planning Executives to join our Angard Staffing department and support our Service Delivery Team!

In this role, you'll engage with clients and candidates, managing staffing orders, taking calls, and orchestrating seamless workforce deployment. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis, including early, late, and weekend shifts. This is a fixed term contract until December 2026.

What's a Workforce Planning Executive?

A Workforce Planning Executive is a vital role in our service delivery to a key client, the Royal Mail. You’ll be managing the deployment and engagement of Angard workers at Royal Mail sites across the country, working directly with clients, site managers, and candidates.

You’ll be:
  • Managing our bespoke booking system, JoinedUp
  • Handling incoming calls and emails from candidates and managers
  • Supporting managers with utilising systems effectively
  • Managing shift patterns and rotas as per site requirements
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with key stakeholders across the client group
