Axle Informatics in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Workday Technical SME to support a Finance Transformation program, focusing on the HR domain. You will provide technical expertise across Workday data structures, workforce classifications, and data extraction, while governing HR data workshops and documentation.

The role requires hands-on work with Workday architecture, GCP data pipelines, and end-to-end extraction.

Qualifications

5+ years working with Workday data models, HR classifications, and supervisory org structures.
Understanding of how classification and cost data flow between HR and Finance systems.
Experience facilitating definition workshops with HR Operations and business partners.
GCP pipeline experience to build Workday extraction logic and query Cloud SQL.
Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical SME for Workday data structures, classifications, and integration patterns.
Audit existing Workday worker classification labels and draft new data fields to align with Data Dictionary.
Design, build, and validate Workday extractions using RaaS, EIB, Core Connectors, and REST APIs.
Own the Workday extraction end-to-end when HR and Finance domains are in scope, under architectural guidance.
Scope payroll across multiple platforms and contribute to methodology for payroll-originated costs.
Ensure HR data supports reporting lenses and maintain mapping between HR and Finance structures.
Lead HR data model definition workshops and document outputs for governance sign-off.
