Job summary

CE Global Partners seeks an experienced Workday Functional Lead to steer the client-side functional workstream for an initial Workday deployment. You will coordinate HR SMEs, HRIS resources and the SI, ensuring design decisions meet business requirements and align with best practices.

This non-configuration role focuses on design assurance, governance and stakeholder coordination, enabling smooth transition to business as usual and successful system rollout.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a Workday HCM implementation.
• Strong understanding of Workday design principles and standard processes.
• Experience in a client-side functional leadership, design assurance or governance role.
• Ability to challenge SI proposals and ensure alignment with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional Workstream across the Workday implementation lifecycle, including discovery, design, testing, deployment and transition.
• Develop and maintain detailed workstream plans, milestones and dependencies; track RAID items.
• Coordinate HR SMEs, HRIS resources and stakeholders to drive timely functional activities.
• Assure proposed Workday solutions meet business requirements and fit Workday best practices.
• Manage SI deliverables, challenge design outputs and document progress against milestones.
• Lead SOP development and future-state HR processes; enable effective transition to BAU.
• Support UAT planning, functional testing, defect triage and knowledge transfer.
