Job summary

Core-Asset Consulting is seeking a Workday Lead for a leading financial services client. You will own the vision, strategy and roadmap for People systems, ensuring Workday aligns with business priorities and colleague needs.

You will partner with People, Payroll, Finance, IT and Compliance to translate requirements into practical system changes, manage backlogs, govern AI-enabled enhancements and drive adoption with strong data governance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for People systems and Workday alignment with business priorities.
• Lead discovery sessions to understand business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the People systems and Workday backlog, prioritising by value, risk and capacity.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan releases and timelines.
• Ensure governance, testing, documentation and approvals for changes, including AI features.
• Partner with People, Payroll, Finance, IT and Compliance to support joined-up processes.
• Champion Workday best practice and standardised processes adoption.
• Identify opportunities to use technology and AI to reduce manual effort and improve decision-making.
• Review processes and drive simplification and value addition.
• Assess Workday features and industry developments and drive adoption where value exists.
• Support escalation and resolution of complex system issues across People-related modules.
• Oversee user testing, regression testing and patch validation.
• Create and maintain system documentation and user guides.
• Lead embedding of new Workday and AI-enabled tools through training and communication.
