Job summary

Consult is seeking a Sr. HCM Functional Consultant to join our London-based, hybrid-work team on a 3/6 month contract. The role focuses on post-production support, optimization of Workday HCM modules, and guiding clients through configuration and best practices.

You will lead sessions with clients and teammates to scope complex requirements, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality Workday solutions while mentoring others and advancing the practice.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of recent Workday experience implementing/Supporting Workday HCM modules.
• Strong experience within Workday HCM deployments and operational support projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and develop strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-production support and enhancement services in Workday HCM and act as SME for team members and clients.
• Plan and implement additional Workday HCM modules by documenting requirements and configuring best practices.
• Manage client relationships and resolve support requests across operations and projects.
• Lead client and team sessions to analyze and scope complex business needs.
• Prioritize requests by urgency, scope, and availability, delegating as needed.
• Guide team members to research and resolve complex client requests and deliver quality Workday outputs.
• Share Workday best practices and ensure high quality deliverables to clients.
• Communicate project updates and configuration recommendations to clients.
• Put client interests first and exceed expectations wherever possible.
• Foster internal relationships, mentor consultants, and grow the practice.

Job Title : Sr. HCM Functional Consultant

Job Location: London, UK/ Hybrid

Job Type: 3/6 month Contract

Responsibilities:

• Provide post-production support and enhancement services in multiple areas of Workday HCM and serve as the subject matter expert to assist fellow team members and clients.
• Participate in advisory, planning and implementation of additional Workday HCM modules by documenting requirements, mapping processes, and implementing best-practice configuration.
• Manage client relationships and resolves client support requests varying from operational support issue resolution, phase x implementations and enhancement projects, release planning, to strategic road mapping services.
• Lead sessions with clients and team members to analyze and scope complex business requirements.
• Prioritize and delegate requests and tasks by level of urgency, scope, complexity, and team availability.
• Provide guidance to and collaborate with team members to research and resolve complex client requests.
• Provide Workday best practices and ensure high quality deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with clients to convey project updates, configuration recommendations, and Workday best practices.
• Prioritize client’s interest and proactively listen to ensure that work exceeds their expectations.
• Actively foster internal relationships, share knowledge, and mentor other consultants, and contribute as a leader to grow our practice.
• Take initiative to perform or delegate other related duties as needs are discovered, including internal projects.

Looking for:

• Strong understanding of core Workday competencies (business process, reporting, security) and deep expertise in one (or multiple!) Workday HCM functional areas.
• Experience implementing/supporting Workday modules related to Core HCM, Benefits, Adv Compensation, Talent Management, Performance mandatory.
• 8+ years of recent Workday experience implementing/Supporting Workday HCM modules.
• Strong experience within Workday HCM deployments and operational support projects.
• Ability to build and develop strong client relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
