Job summary

Canopius is seeking a Workday Data Analyst to join the Application Support team in a hybrid role based in Manchester. The role focuses on supporting Workday Financials data services, Prism Analytics and Accounting Centre, with emphasis on data movement, quality, and incident resolution.

You will work across Finance, Data and IT, performing second-line support during UAT, go-live and post-go-live stabilization.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting data-intensive business applications in a live-service environment.
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics or Workday Accounting Centre or comparable platforms.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to investigate data quality and transformation issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line technical support for Workday data services (Prism Analytics, Accounting Centre) and data pipelines.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues, processing failures, reconciliation differences, and incidents affecting financial outputs.
• Use SQL and diagnostic tools to analyze data, identify root causes and support resolution.
• Support the end-to-end movement and transformation of data between source systems, data platforms and Workday Financials.
• Assess impact of source-system/configuration/data-structure changes on Workday interfaces.
• Provide technical analysis for complex incidents with Finance, Data, IT and third-party suppliers.
• Support Workday Financials UAT, go-live, fix-forward activity and transition to live service.
• Create and maintain clear support documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Share knowledge across the team through coaching and documentation.
