Job summary

Canopius is advancing its Workday Financials implementation and seeks a Workday Data Analyst to join the Application Support team. The role focuses on Prism Analytics, Accounting Centre and end-to-end data movement into Workday, supporting UAT, go-live and post-go-live stabilization.

Based in Manchester with a hybrid pattern (2–3 days in the office), you will analyse data, diagnose issues, and contribute to the future live service model while training and transferring knowledge to the AMS team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting data-intensive Workday-based data services.
• Experience with UAT, go-live and post-go-live stabilization.
• Strong SQL skills with data quality, transformation and integration issues.
• Understanding of data pipelines, source-to-target mappings and end-to-end data flows.
• Experience in structured ITSM processes: incident, problem, change and release management.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line technical support for Workday data services, including Prism Analytics and Accounting Centre.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues, processing failures, reconciliation differences and incidents affecting financial outputs.
• Use SQL and diagnostic tools to analyse data, identify root causes and support resolution.
• Understand and support end-to-end movement and transformation of data into Workday Financials.
• Support Workday interfaces feeding Workday and assess impact of source-system changes.
• Provide technical analysis for complex incidents and collaborate with Finance, Data, IT and suppliers.
• Support Workday UAT, go-live, fix-forward activity and transition to stable live support.
• Create and maintain clear support documentation and troubleshooting guidance.
• Share specialist knowledge across the team through coaching and documentation.
