Job summary

Arup is seeking a Work Winning Lead to drive bid strategy and lead the CPD portfolio across UKIMEA. You will coordinate pursuits, develop bids with proposal teams, and support client-specific business development activities to increase win rates.

You will lead a team across geographies, promote best-practice bid processes, and align with portfolio leadership to embed knowledge management and client-centric strategies that deliver high-quality submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field.
• APMP certification desirable.
• Proven success leading work winning teams across geographies and contributing to major CPD sector bids.
• Strong understanding of procurement practices and relevant regulations, particularly in the public sector.
• Knowledge of CPD sector and markets, including key clients, partners and competitors.
• Knowledge of the Design & Build market and bid characteristics.
• Experience managing a pipeline of Priority Pursuits with digital tools like MS Dynamics CRM.
• Experience leading and contributing to improvement initiatives affecting skills, tools and processes for winning work.
• Ability to collaborate under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a pipeline of opportunities with CPD portfolio leadership.
• Lead proposal management and bid coordination across CPD teams in UKIMEA.
• Guide pursuit strategy, scheduling and submission through the bid cycle to improve quality and win rate.
• Maintain Arup brand across capture and delivery cycles with CPD marketing partner.
• Collaborate with technical teams and bid directors to deliver strong submissions.
• Promote client engagement planning and proactive pursuit activities.
• Drive use of CRM and bid lifecycle tools for visibility and reporting.
• Develop and mentor work winning team members and succession planning.
• Participate in bid strategy workshops and reviews to drive excellence.
