Job summary

Arup is seeking a proactive Senior BD Coordinator to join the Cities, Planning & Design Portfolio and lead winning bids across the UKIMEA region.

You will manage the full bid lifecycle—from planning and coordination through to submission—helping produce high-quality proposals that showcase our expertise. The role offers professional development within Arup's global network of proposal specialists.

Qualifications

• Degree in marketing, business or related field (APMP desirable).
• Experience in bid coordination/writing within UK construction or professional services sectors.
• Understanding of bid processes and governance.
• High proficiency in MS Office, Teams, SharePoint; CRM experience a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Collaborative mindset with the drive to deliver high quality work on tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end bid production from planning to submission.
• Track progress, manage deliverables, and engage stakeholders across the business.
• Draft and refine content including case studies and CVs.
• Maintain bid libraries and project collateral.
• Build strong sector relationships to understand clients, markets and opportunities.
