Job summary

HARLOW COLLEGE, located at Stansted Airport College, is seeking a Work Placement Officer to support learners by building employer links and securing valuable work placements. You will collaborate with staff and students to shape the learner journey.

You will source placements, grow employer networks, promote placements to partners, and maintain records in the placement system. We offer training funding, development opportunities, career progression, and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of engaging and developing relationships with employers
• Experience in a customer service environment with strong telephone skills
• Level 2 in English & Maths or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn new technology
• Ability to problem-solve and manage priorities with meeting deadlines
• Safeguarding Level 2 qualification or willingness to work towards it
• Experience/knowledge of the aviation industry desirable

Responsibilities

• Source work experience and industry placements for students
• Cultivate new employer contacts and nurture relationships with existing partners
• Articulate benefits of work and industry placements to learners and employers
• Maintain accurate records through the placement software platform
