Job summary

London Borough of Bromley is recruiting a Work and Health Coach to deliver the NHS-funded Work Well employment support service. You will help residents overcome health barriers to work, coordinate with GP practices, health services, and partners, and support job search and retention.

The role involves one-to-one coaching, group workshops, and liaising with employers to promote inclusive recruitment and reasonable adjustments. Fixed-term until Nov 2027 with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Proven experience helping people with barriers into sustained paid work.
• Experience coordinating with health, employment, and community services.
• Ability to plan and deliver employability skills sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored one-to-one employment support and action plans.
• Establish referral pathways with health and social care partners.
• Deliver group employability skills workshops and job search sessions.
• Build strong relationships with employers and negotiate opportunities.
• Deliver in-work coaching and retention support, addressing workplace challenges.
