Job summary

The Growth Company in the United Kingdom seeks an employment and health advisor to support individuals with health conditions or barriers to employment. You will manage a caseload and conduct Work and Health Assessments to identify support needs and develop tailored action plans.

You will source job opportunities through employer engagement, work with NHS services and community partners, and help employers with workplace adjustments and return‑to‑work plans. Travel across the county is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage a caseload and prioritise competing demands.
• Experience delivering guidance, advice, coaching or person-centred support.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of challenges faced by individuals with health conditions and other barriers to employment.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of local support services and referral pathways.
• Accurate administration, record-keeping and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants, providing tailored support to help them achieve employment goals.
• Conduct Work and Health Assessments to identify employment support needs, in person or online.
• Develop individual action plans to help participants overcome barriers to sustainable employment.
• Source suitable job opportunities through employer engagement and local labour-market knowledge.
• Collaborate with NHS services, GP practices and community partners to support participant outcomes.
• Deliver triage support and refer participants to appropriate specialist services.
