Job summary

The Growth Company (GC) is hiring an Employment Advisor to join a team dedicated to changing lives, driving positive outcomes and creating opportunities for people and communities to thrive. You will manage a caseload, deliver tailored employment support, and collaborate with local partners to help participants move into work.

This role involves travel across Bury, conducting Work and Health Assessments, developing action plans, and supporting employers with workplace adjustments.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex barriers.
• Ability to build relationships with participants, employers and partners.
• Knowledge of local support services and referral pathways.
• Accurate administration and data management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants and set employment goals.
• Conduct Work and Health Assessments to identify needs.
• Develop individual action plans to overcome barriers.
• Source suitable job opportunities through employer engagement.
• Collaborate with NHS services, GP practices and community partners.
• Deliver triage support and refer participants to specialist services.
• Support employers with workplace adjustments and return-to-work plans.
• Maintain records and data in line with programme requirements.
