Job summary

Cambrian Training Company is seeking Training Officers in Business and Management to join our teams in North Wales and South Wales. This permanent, full-time role (37 hours/week) offers a salary up to £28,500 per annum for TAQA qualified candidates and requires driving and travel to workplaces.

The successful candidate will teach, assess, and support apprentices toward NVQ levels 2–4, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and digital skills, and Welsh language promotion where possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Business and Management sector.
• Experience in leading a team (desirable)
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Good IT skills and ability to learn new software.
• Hold D32/D33, TAQA or A1 Assessor award or willing to undertake.
• GCSE A*-C in English and Maths or Level 2 equivalent (desirable).
• Welsh language ability desirable.

Responsibilities

• Delivering effective teaching and learning to a caseload of learners in the workplace.
• Development of learner’s skills, knowledge and understanding.
• Plan and carry out assessments to meet the needs of qualification, including in person and online.
• Maintenance of learner records of assessment and progress.
• Engaging with potential employers and learners to identify new opportunities.
• Working with other departments within Cambrian Training to ensure the learner can complete their apprenticeship programme in a timely manner.
