Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC is seeking a Machine Operator in Northampton. You will operate wood and metal machinery, including edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and brake presses, for a Monday–Friday 7:00–15:00 shift.

Roles are temporary to permanent for the right candidate. New starters will work with HOMAG and ZUND machinery, with opportunities for growth and progression within a recently completed facility.

Qualifications

• Experience operating wood and/or metal machinery in a production setting.
• Experience in machine operation, ensuring quality and production progression.
• Stock replenishment in warehouse locations and quality checks of outgoing stock.

Responsibilities

• Operate wood/metal machines such as edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and brake press.
• Check quality and production progression.
• Replenish stock in correct warehouse locations.
• Quality check outgoing stock.
