Interaction Recruitment PLC is seeking a Machine Operator in Northampton. You will operate wood and metal machinery, including edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and brake presses, for a Monday–Friday 7:00–15:00 shift.

Roles are temporary to permanent for the right candidate. New starters will work with HOMAG and ZUND machinery, with opportunities for growth and progression within a recently completed facility.

Formación

• Experience operating wood and/or metal machinery in a production setting.
• Experience in machine operation, ensuring quality and production progression.
• Stock replenishment in warehouse locations and quality checks of outgoing stock.

Responsabilidades

Salary £15.38 to £16.92 plus Overtime when required

Role: Machine Operator

These roles will be temporary to permanent or straight permanent for the right candidate.

New starters will be operating Wood / Metal Machines such as edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and brake press. Previous experience operating industrial machinery such as HOMAG and/or ZUND.

Previous experience can include the following:

• Working within a production environment
• Machine Operating experience required, checking quality and production progression
• Replenishing stock in the correct warehouse locations
• Quality checking outgoing stock
• Wood / Metal machinist/manufacturing background

Attributes we are looking for machine operator:

• Manufacturing background and understanding of manufacturing process
• Experience of operating wood and or metal machinery
• Good timekeeping and attendance record
• Operating Edge banding machines
