Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC is seeking a Machine Operator in Northampton. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, and is a permanent position. New starters will operate Wood/Metal Machines such as edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and brake presses.

Experience operating industrial machinery like HOMAG and/or ZUND is preferred, with emphasis on quality checks and production progression in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Machine operating experience required, checking quality and production progression.
• Replenishing stock in the correct warehouse locations.
• Quality checking outgoing stock.

Responsibilities

• Operating Wood/Metal Machines such as edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and brake press.
• Experience with HOMAG and/or ZUND machines preferred.
• Maintain production pace and ensure quality checks.
• Work within a manufacturing environment with good timekeeping.
