Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC is recruiting a Machine Operator in Northampton for a 7:00am – 15:00pm shift, Monday to Friday. The role involves operating wood and metal machines such as edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and brake presses. Temporary with potential for permanent placement.

Experience operating industrial machinery (e.g., HOMAG and/or ZUND) and a solid production background are preferred. Overtime may be available to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Experience operating wood and/or metal machinery in a production environment.
• Ability to check quality and production progression.
• Good timekeeping and attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Operate Wood/Metal machines such as edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and brake press.
• Monitor quality and production progression to ensure targets are met.
• Replenish stock in correct warehouse locations.
• Perform quality checks on outgoing stock.
• Work within a manufacturing environment to support production.
