Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC is recruiting for Machine Operators in Northampton. The roles are Mon-Fri with shift 7.00am – 3.00pm and salary between £15.38 and £16.92 per hour plus overtime. These assignments are temporary-to-permanent for the right candidate.

New starters will operate wood/metal machinery including edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and brake presses, with experience in HOMAG and/or ZUND preferred. Opportunities for growth exist in a recently completed facility.

Qualifications

• Experience operating wood/metal machinery in a production setting.
• Ability to check quality and monitor production progression.
• Good timekeeping and attendance record.
• Familiar with edge banders, crosscut saws, drills, CNC machines, beam saws and brake presses.

Responsibilities

• Operate wood and metal machines such as edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and brake presses.
• Ensure product quality and monitor production progression.
• Replenish stock in correct warehouse locations.
• Inspect outgoing stock for quality and accuracy.

Machine Operators

Monday to Friday

7.00am – 15.00pm

Northampton

Salary £15.38 to £16.92 plus Overtime when required

Role: Machine Operator

These roles will be temporary- permanent for the right candidate.

New starters will be operating Wood / Metal Machines such as; edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and brake press. Previous experience operating industrial machinery such as HOMAG and/or ZUND.

Previous experience can include the following:

• Working within a production environment
• Machine Operating experience required, checking quality and production progression
• Replenishing stock in the correct warehouse locations
• Quality checking outgoing stock
• Wood /Metal machinist/manufacturing background
