Job summary

Happy Days UK is looking for a Complex Lives Coordinator for our Winter Shelter in Halifax. You will deliver trauma-informed, person-centred support to adults experiencing homelessness, helping them access healthcare, housing and related services.

This role requires safeguarding, risk assessment, and strong partnership working, with shifts across days, evenings and weekends. A relevant health & social care qualification is essential, plus independence and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults experiencing homelessness or complex needs.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and harm reduction.
• Experience managing safeguarding concerns and risk.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to build positive professional relationships.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload.
• Knowledge of homelessness legislation and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred, trauma-informed support to individuals experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage.
• Complete assessments, support plans and reviews.
• Support access to healthcare, housing, benefits and other services.
• Assist residents to identify strengths, goals and independence.
