Job summary

Boyne Resorts is seeking a Road Maintenance Technician to care for resort roads, parking lots and walking paths during winter weather. You’ll operate heavy equipment, load and spread sand and salt, and perform post-storm cleanups to keep guests and staff moving safely.

The role requires reliability, willingness to work day and night shifts, and a valid driver’s license. A CDL-B is preferred but not mandatory, with housing options and resort perks available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CDL-B license preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous plowing experience preferred; clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and vehicles for road and parking lot maintenance.
• Load trucks with sand and salt and spread in vehicle traffic and foot traffic areas.
• Perform clean up processes after storms to ensure resort wide travel is functioning.
• Repair, ditch, and edge roads.
• Work both days and nights when needed according to weather.
• Performing tasks safely on a daily/nightly basis.
