Job summary

Ringway (NH East) seeks reliable Winter Casual Drivers to support winter maintenance on the Strategic Road Network. You will operate gritting and snow-plough vehicles on a rota, with on-call standby and short-notice call-outs during severe winter weather.

This safety-critical role requires a professional approach, commitment to safe practices, and the ability to work effectively in challenging conditions while maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Experience driving LGV/HGV in a professional environment.
• Experience in winter maintenance operations or related sectors.
• Knowledge of vehicle inspections, defect reporting and SOPs.
