Manpower UK is seeking a reliable Call Handler in Exeter for a six-month winter role. Working Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:30, you will support a busy transport office with customer service and logistics enquiries, ensuring clear, accurate information.

The role is a temporary fixed-term contract, with duties including day-to-day coordination, record-keeping, and contributing to smooth site operations. Prior logistics/customer service experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Reliability and punctuality to meet schedules.
• Attention to detail for accurate processing and documentation.
• Teamwork and ability to follow instructions in a busy environment.
• Basic literacy and numeracy for records and instructions.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, or operational support is desirable.
• Awareness of workplace safety and following site procedures.

Responsabilités

• Support logistics and operational activities for the Exeter site during the winter period.
• Assist with day-to-day coordination tasks to ensure smooth workflow across the site.
• Help maintain accurate handling and movement of relevant items and documentation in line with site procedures.
• Follow operational instructions and escalation routes where issues or delays occur.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet service and operational requirements.
• Maintain a professional approach to safety, quality, and compliance at all times.
• Complete required records and support effective handovers as needed.
