Job summary

Manpower in Belfast seeks an experienced Bid Manager to lead end-to-end bid processes for public and private sector opportunities. You will manage the full bid lifecycle, coordinate with SME's, craft compelling content, and ensure compliance with tender requirements.

Strong writing, organisation, and stakeholder management are essential, along with a full UK driving licence. The role offers ongoing training, a supportive team, and opportunities to travel to Portadown as required, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Proven experience in public sector bid management.
• Proven experience in public sector bid writing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity review and qualification through to submission and mobilisation.
• Lead the preparation and submission of public and private sector bids, ensuring full compliance with client specifications and requirements.
• Produce clear, concise, and persuasive bid content within strict deadlines.
• Review, edit, and enhance existing bid materials to maximise quality and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to gather evidence, technical information, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure all submissions are fully compliant with tender instructions and evaluation criteria.
• Prepare supporting materials and content for bid presentations and interviews.
• Maintain and continuously improve the company's bid library, including case studies, project profiles, and team CVs, working closely with the marketing team.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues, helping to develop bid-writing capabilities across the wider team.
