Manpower in Belfast is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join the office. You will manage and deliver high-quality bids across mechanical, electrical, energy, and renewable installation projects, coordinating with subject matter experts and the marketing team.

You will lead the full bid lifecycle, ensure compliance with tender instructions, craft clear bid content under deadlines, and develop the bid library while mentoring colleagues to enhance bid-writing capabilities.

• Proven experience in public sector bid writing.
• Excellent time management under deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills with accountability and professionalism.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client relations.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Collaborative approach and team focus.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Outlook/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity review to submission.
• Lead preparation and submission of public and private sector bids.
• Produce clear, concise bid content within deadlines.
• Review and enhance existing bid materials for quality.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather evidence.
• Ensure compliance with tender instructions and evaluation criteria.
• Prepare materials for bid presentations and interviews.
• Maintain and improve bid library with case studies and CVs.
• Support colleagues to develop bid-writing capabilities.
