Job summary

Airbus Engineering Structures Wing is seeking an undergraduate intern to contribute to Finite Element Analysis and Digital Analysis for wing structures in Filton, Bristol. You will work within the Wing Architect and Integration team on multiple projects across the lifecycle.

As part of the FEA team, you will deliver analysis results, own deliverables, and learn from experienced professionals while developing project management and communication skills for transnational collaboration.

Qualifications

• Open to undergraduates for the whole duration of the placement.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for transnational stakeholders.
• Good attitude with others and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver key analysis results for Airbus aircraft programs.
• Own deliverables from initial task definition to final delivery.
• Use pre/post processing tools like Hyperworks and NASTRAN.
• Develop codes to automate repetitive analysis tasks.
