Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton, Bristol invites undergraduates to join the Wing Repairs department for a 12.5-month internship. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team defining and developing wing repairs while gaining exposure to CAD tools and structural analyses.

This role offers hands-on experience from design through testing and collaboration with senior engineers. Applicants should be pursuing Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and have a keen interest in technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only for the whole duration of the placement.
• Pursuing a degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or CATIA is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Defining and developing wing repairs with CAD tools.
• Perform static stress analysis to validate repairs.
• Contribute to fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
