Job summary

Airbus in Broughton, UK, is offering an internship in the Wing Structural Design team. You will work with PET and support the A400M wing development, gaining hands-on experience with both established and future wing projects.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of aircraft structural design principles.
• Good problem-solving and proactive attitude.
• Able to work autonomously and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design composite and metallic wing structures across Airbus programmes.
• Create design schemes, frontier and interface drawings for manufacture.
• Assess designs against time, cost, and quality constraints.
• Provide engineering support to production lines to minimize disruption.
• Communicate tasks to mentors and senior engineers.
