Job summary

Airbus UK Wing Repairs internship offers undergraduates a hands-on role within a multidisciplinary team. You will work on defining and developing wing repairs, learning to integrate repairs with the existing structure to ensure safe, effective solutions.

The placement covers CAD-driven repair design, static and fatigue analyses, and collaboration with engineers across groups to support repairable aircraft projects in the Airbus fleet.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student for the whole duration of the placement.
• Studying towards Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Nice to have CAD software experience like AutoCAD or CATIA.
• Knowledge of Structural Analysis and Statistics.

Responsibilities

• You will be part of a multidisciplinary team defining and developing repairs for wing structures.
• You will learn how to integrate a repair into the existing structure while meeting all safety requirements.
• Repair design, including CAD tools, to define the repair and provide instructions on installation.
