Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate for the whole placement duration.
• Currently studying towards a degree in Engineering, Design Technology, Science or Maths.
• Willingness to learn basic metallic and composite structures and design toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Design of composite and metallic Wing structures across Airbus programmes.
• Create design schemes, frontier and interfaces drawings and data for manufacture.
• Assess design solutions within time, cost and quality parameters and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
• Ensure structural design meets airworthiness and product requirements and aligns with QA criteria.
• Deliver technical studies and investigations to support design methods and procedures.
