Job summary

Majestic Wine Witney is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the store team, drive sales and manage the day-to-day running of the store while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will build product knowledge, assist in stock management and maintain a welcoming store environment. A full UK driving licence is required, with availability for evenings and weekends, and a commitment to high standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent time-management, delegation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience to every customer.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion to learn and pass WSET Level 2 wine qualifications.
• Full UK manual driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and supporting the team to meet targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive business growth and customer loyalty.
• Act as a store ambassador and maintain the store’s appearance and compliance.
• Support day-to-day operations including deliveries, merchandising and customer outreach.
• Proactively identify improvements to optimise store operations and communicate with the Store Manager.
