Job summary

Majestic Wine Group in Winchester is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the store team, drive sales performance and the day-to-day running of the store, delivering outstanding customer service. You will be an ambassador for the store, helping achieve targets through KPI focus, promoting wine knowledge, and participating in all store operations, including deliveries and merchandising.

Qualifications

Excellent time-management, delegation and problem-solving skills.
Deliver exceptional customer experience & service to every single customer.
Self-motivated, able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team.
Hold a full UK, manual transmission driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and support your team in meeting targets.
Deliver market-leading customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
Act as VIP concierge, actively contacting customers with updates on products and tastings.
Sell the story, not the discount, with in-depth knowledge of our range.
Take ownership of wine knowledge and pursue WSET level 2.
Maintain the appearance and upkeep of the store, inside and out.
Contribute to day-day operations including deliveries, merchandising and customer communications.
Identify improvements to optimise store operations and share ideas with the team.
