Job summary

Majestic Wine Group is seeking a dynamic Flex Sales Assistant for the London area to support store teams, drive sales and deliver outstanding customer service. You will be a key holder, capable of working across stores in London, including evenings and weekends, and comfortable driving a company van.

A full UK manual licence held 12+ months is essential, with a 24-hour per week contract. You will help maintain store standards, assist with deliveries and stock, and look to grow in product

Qualifications

• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
• Full UK, manual transmission driving licence held for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Wine knowledge is beneficial but passion to learn more is essential to pass level 2 WSET wine qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and supporting the team to meet targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive growth through loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Act as an ambassador for the store, providing VIP concierge service and proactive product tastings updates.
• Sell the story, share passion for our range and continually learn about our products to support selling and WSET qualifications.
• Take ownership for wine knowledge and store appearance both internally and externally.
• Participate in day-to-day operations including stock deliveries, merchandising, and customer calls to drive sales.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and feedback ideas to the team.
• Remain compliant, safe and trained to meet internal policies and procedures.
