Job summary

Majestic Wine Birmingham is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the store team, drive sales and manage day-to-day operations while providing exceptional customer service. You will be an ambassador for the store, helping customers with product recommendations and ensuring a welcoming shopping experience.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends, a full UK manual driving licence, and a passion for wine.

Qualifications

• Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience to every customer.
• Self-motivated, able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team.
• Passion for wine knowledge with willingness to learn Level 2 WSET.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Capable of working evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and KPI delivery.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Demonstrate knowledge of product range to sell the story, not just discounts.
• Take ownership of wine knowledge and support customer education.
• Support day-to-day store operations including deliveries and stock management.
