Job summary

Majestic Wine Group in the UK is seeking a dynamic Trainee Manager for a 12-month development programme to prepare you for future Store Manager roles. You will work through a structured career pathway with support from your Store Manager to build operational, service and leadership skills.

This permanent contract requires 44 hours per week (including weekends) with flexibility to travel to surrounding stores. Salary £29,080.48.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail or hospitality environments, with targets.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ambition to develop into a Majestic Store Manager role.
• Willingness to travel and support surrounding stores.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximizing sales opportunities and KPI focus.
• Deliver excellent customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Offer VIP concierge service and engage customers with product tastings.
• Lead tasting counters and maintain in-depth wine knowledge for selling.
• Maintain store appearance and manage day-to-day operations.
• Support logistics such as deliveries, merchandising, and outreach to customers.
